Understanding Daily Loss Limits (Static)
Updated 27 October 2026
The Daily Loss Limit is static and equity-based.
How the daily floor is set
At 00:00 UTC, the platform records the account's current equity. It calculates the daily allowance from that snapshot and fixes the breach floor until the next reset.
The floor does not move upward when you make profit during the day. At the next daily reset, the platform takes a fresh equity snapshot and sets a new fixed floor for the new trading day.
Current standard limits
- Cobra Venom (Instant under $10,000): 4%
- Cobra Strike (Instant $2,000 to $5,000): none. Cobra Strike has no daily loss limit; the 5% max loss and 1% open-loss limit still apply.
- Cobra Prime (Instant $10,000+, sold from 18 Sep 2026): 3%
- 1-Step: 4%
- 2-Step: 8%
Example
If reset equity is $10,000 on a 1-Step account, 4% is $400. The daily breach floor is $9,600 until the next reset. Floating losses count because the rule is measured on equity.
