Daily loss limit: 3%, trailing

How it's calculated. At 00:00 UTC the platform takes your equity (balance plus open profit or loss). 3% of that is your allowance for the day. Your floor sits that far below the highest equity you reach that day, so it moves up when your equity moves up. It never moves down during the day. Open losses count, so you can breach with the trade still open.

Example
Venom 2.0 $5,000. Equity at the reset is $5,000, so the allowance is $150 and the floor starts at $4,850.
Your equity climbs to $5,100: the floor moves up to $4,950.
Your equity falls back to $4,950: the account ends, even though you are still in profit for the day.
Example
Next day your equity at the reset is $5,060. The allowance is $151.80, and the floor starts at $4,908.20.

Closed profit raises the floor too. If you are up 3% on the day and give it all back, you breach.

A payout does not cause a breach. A payout lowers the day's highest equity by the same amount, so the payout itself never moves you closer to the floor. Profit that Max Profit Per Trade will remove does not raise the floor either.

Maximum loss: none

There is no overall loss limit on Venom 2.0. The daily limit and the 1.5% open-loss limit are the rules that can end the account on losses.

Open-loss limit: 1.5%

How it's calculated. Add the loss on all your open trades, plus the commission charged on those trades. That total may not reach 1.5% of your starting balance at any moment. It is checked live. Reaching it ends the account.

Example
Venom 2.0 $5,000. The limit is $75. Your open trades are down $60 at their worst, then recover: nothing happens. They reach $75 down at one moment: the account ends there.

Withdrawal target: 8%

You need 8% profit on the account every time you request a payout, not only the first time. Closed profit only: open profit does not count until the trade closes.

Example
$5,000 account: the target is $400, so the balance must be at $5,400 or more.

Max Profit Per Trade: 3% of the account

One trade may not earn more than 3% of the account. It never ends the account.

If a trade's open profit touches the cap at any moment, the whole profit of that trade is removed when it closes, even if it closes lower. Not only the part above the cap. You get a warning on screen shortly before the cap. Several partial closes of one trade count as one trade.

Example
$5,000 account: the cap is $150.
A trade closes at +$120 and never touched $150: you keep all $120.
A trade touches +$150, then you close it at +$90: the whole $90 is removed. The account stays open.

Stop loss: required on every trade

Every trade must have a stop loss. A trade counts as having one if a stop loss is on it when it closes, so you can add it after the trade opens. We check your trades since your last payout automatically when you request a payout. If a trade had none, your payout can be rejected, and our team decides. It never breaches the account. If you close part of a trade while no stop loss is set, the whole trade counts as having none.

Account validity: 20 days

The account runs for 20 days from delivery. When the 20 days end, open trades close, trading stops and the account ends. That is not a breach. Request your payouts before then: a payout you requested before the account ended can still be approved after it ends.

Minimum trade duration: 60 seconds

Hold every trade for at least 60 seconds.

  • You close by hand in under 60 seconds. The first time, the trade's profit is removed and you get a warning. The second time, the account ends.
  • A take-profit or stop-loss closes it in under 60 seconds. The trade's profit is removed and you get a warning, up to 4 warnings. The 5th time, the account ends.
  • The platform closes it on a margin stop-out. This never counts.

No hedging

You can't hold a buy and a sell on the same pair at the same time. Reaching that position ends the account. Trading many different pairs at once is fine.

This also covers your own accounts. A buy on one of your accounts and a sell on the same pair on another of your accounts, at the same time, breaches all the accounts involved. Holding the same direction on several of your own accounts is allowed.

Payouts

Request from the Payouts page on any day the account meets all of this:

  • The account is at or above the 8% target.
  • At least 1% of the starting size in new profit since your last payout.
  • One request a day at most.

Each payout takes at most 3% of the account, and you receive 80% of what comes off. A payout takes its slice off the account, so you have to earn that slice back before the next one.

Example
$5,000 account. At $5,400 you request the most you can: $150 comes off the account, you receive $120. The balance is now $5,250.
The next payout needs the balance back at $5,400, so $150 of new profit.
Example
$1,250 account. The target is $100. A payout takes $37.50 off, and $30 goes to your wallet. You then need $37.50 of new profit before the next one.

Payouts are paid in USDT on the TRON network (TRC-20) to your own wallet. The address starts with T. KYC must be approved first.

A request does not lock in your profit. It is judged on the account as it is when the team approves it: the profit must still be at the target, the amount must still fit, and there can be no open trades or pending orders.

Payouts are processed within 24 to 48 hours of the request. Requests placed on Friday night, Saturday or Sunday are often processed on Monday.

Weekend holding: not allowed

Open forex, metals, indices and energy trades close by themselves 5 minutes before the Friday close. That close is not a breach. Crypto is exempt. The weekend holding add-on removes this.

News trading: not allowed

Trading stays open. A trade running or placed from 5 minutes before to 5 minutes after high-impact news on a pair with that currency breaches the account when it closes, win or lose. Crypto is exempt. The news trading add-on removes this.

Add-ons at checkout

Weekend holding and news trading, each 15% of the list price. One-time, chosen at checkout. Codes do not discount them, they can't be changed after buying, and they apply to that paid account only. An add-on can't be in the same order as a reset. The 20 days do not change.

Leverage

  • Forex majors 1:100, exotic pairs 1:66
  • All metals 1:10: gold, silver, platinum, palladium and copper
  • Indices 1:20
  • Oil and gas 1:50
  • Bitcoin and Ethereum 1:10, other crypto 1:5

Leverage only limits position size. Your loss limits decide how big a trade can safely be: on $5,000 the open-loss line is $75, so size the trade so your stop stays well inside that.

Free accounts

Only Venom 2.0 $1,250 comes with free accounts during the Diwali offer: 2 free $1,250s, one at a time. They have their own rules: see Diwali free accounts.

Resets

After a breach on a Venom 2.0 under $5,000 you can buy one reset: a brand-new account of the same size, with Venom 2.0 rules and its own 20 days. $500 costs $12, $1,250 costs $24, $2,500 costs $38, $3,500 costs $55. A $5,000 account has no reset; you get a personal 50% RETRY code by email, valid 48 hours.

Not allowed on any account

We check for these before every payout. If one is found, the payout is declined and the account is closed.

  • Arbitrage of any kind: latency, price-feed or broker-to-broker.
  • Tick scalping: opening and closing many trades within seconds to catch feed delays or glitches.
  • Bots and EAs. Every trade must be placed by hand.
  • Copy trading between different people, signal groups, account sharing, or letting someone else trade your account.
  • Hedging your FundedCobra account against an account at another firm or broker.
  • Using an obviously wrong price or a platform error. Those trades are removed.
  • Posting false claims about FundedCobra, or threatening to, to pressure a payout decision.

Trading costs

Spreads are live market spreads and widen during volatile moments. Commission is charged once, when you open a trade: $3 per lot on forex, metals and energy; 0.05% of the trade value on crypto; none on indices.

Refunds

The account fee is one-time and is not refundable, on any account type, whether or not the account was logged into, traded, passed or breached. Payouts are your share of profit; the fee is not returned with them.
